About the Role: Teachers Now is hiring a part-time K–12 ELA Interventionistto support English Language Arts instruction at Frontier Excellencefor the 2026–2027 school year. The ELA Interventionist will be responsible for meeting with small groups of studentsthroughout the school day and supporting multiple ELA teacherswith targeted academic intervention. You will work directly with students to strengthen foundational literacy and ELA skills, close learning gaps, improve reading and writing abilities, and build confidence in academic achievement. Important Assignment Notice (Need-Based Position):This is aschool-based, need-dependent assignment role. Placement, schedule, and assignment duration are determined by individual school site needs, student enrollment, and program requirements.
What You’ll Do: Lead small-group and one-on-one ELA intervention sessions Support students with foundational reading, writing, language, and grade-level ELA skills Help students strengthen reading comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, and written communication Track and report student progress Maintain a positive, structured learning environment Collaborate with teachers and school staff
Qualifications: Strong understanding of K–12 English Language Arts concepts Strong reading, writing, communication, and teamwork skills Passion for helping students succeed Prior tutoring or teaching experience preferred (not required)
