About the role
- Safely operate a concrete mixer truck within the construction site
- Complete basic pre-shift and post-shift equipment inspections
- Receive loads from the on-site portable concrete batch plant
- Transport and deliver concrete to designated placement locations
- Position the truck safely and operate mixer drum and discharge controls
- Communicate with plant personnel, field crews, and spotters
- Follow site-specific traffic plans, backing procedures, and safety requirements
- Stay alert to pedestrians, equipment, excavations, and changing site conditions
- Keep assigned equipment clean and report mechanical or safety concerns
- Work Environment
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid driver's licenseCDL not required
- Ability operating a large vehicle in an active construction environment
- Reliable and able to report for scheduled shifts
- Able to safely and repeatedly enter/exit the truck cab throughout the shift
- Willing to comply with all project safety and site-access requirements
- Preferred (not required):Experience operating large trucks, construction equipment, agricultural equipment, or similar machinery
- Concrete mixer truck experience
