About the role
Adecco Creative and Marketing is partnering with the world's largest producer of medicines and vaccinations for pets and livestock. We are seeking an SEO/GEO Manager to support organic search strategy and emerging AI-powered search initiatives for a 1 YR remote contract assignment with a payrate range of $55-60hr. This role will focus heavily on technical SEO, organic search strategy, GEO/AI, and project management. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, persistent, and comfortable managing multiple stakeholders and driving projects to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Support and execute organic search strategies to improve rankings, visibility, traffic, and engagement. Support GEO/AI search initiatives, working with an external agency and internal teams to improve visibility in AI-powered search experiences. Conduct technical SEO audits and identify issues with crawling, indexing, site architecture, performance, structured data, and other factors impacting search. Partner with developers and technical teams to recommend solutions, create roadmaps, and track issues through completion. Understand how HTML, CSS, and Java Script impact SEO; coding experience is not required. Optimize content, metadata, internal linking, site structure, and schema/structured data. Use analytics and SEO tools to identify site and campaign issues and recommend improvements. Manage SEO/GEO projects from planning through completion, including attending meetings, tracking action items, following up with stakeholders, managing deadlines, and escalating roadblocks. Have Qualifications:
5–7+ years of SEO experience, including strong technical SEO experience. Experience with GEO, AI search, AIO, LLM optimization, or related emerging search technologies. Strong understanding of technical SEO, including crawlability, indexing, site architecture, Core Web Vitals, schema/structured data, and internal linking. Experience identifying website/campaign problems and working with developers to resolve them. Ability to understand and communicate how HTML, CSS, and Java Script affect SEO; hands-on coding is not required. Experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Semrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, or similar SEO tools. CMS experience. Strong project management skills with proven ability to manage timelines, follow-ups, deliverables, and multiple stakeholders. Highly organized, proactive, persistent, and detail-oriented. Strong communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical teams. Preferred Background Experience in animal health, pet care, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, or another enterprise organization. Experience working with an external SEO/digital agency. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Technology, Information Systems, Digital Media, or related field.
