About the role
CAD Designer
Location:
Cleveland, OHWe are looking for an experienced CAD Designer to join our Cleveland team. This person will support a variety of projects by developing accurate, detailed drawings and working closely with engineers, architects, project managers, and other team members.
The ideal candidate will have:
3+ years of CAD experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative project team.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and revise detailed 2D CAD drawings based on project requirements and design direction
- Develop construction documents, plans, details, and layouts
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, architects, and other designers to coordinate drawings
- Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and consistency
- Incorporate revisions and redlines into project documents
- Maintain organized project files and drawing sets
- Assist with drawing standards, templates, and document management
- Coordinate design information between disciplines as needed
- Support projects through various phases of design and construction documentation
- Communicate with team members to identify and resolve drawing or coordination issues
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of professional CAD experience
- Proficiency with AutoCADExperience producing construction or technical drawingsStrong understanding of drafting standards and construction documentation
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, engineering, or construction drawingsStrong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Experience with Revit, Civil 3D, or other design software is a plus, depending on project experience
