About the role
A growing real estate investment firm is seeking an Acquisitions Associate to join its team. The firm focuses on industrial real estate and has an established presence across multiple U.S. markets. The Acquisitions Associate will support the full investment process, from sourcing and evaluating opportunities through underwriting, due diligence, and closing. This is a highly analytical role with exposure to senior investment professionals and opportunities to contribute directly to investment decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Underwrite and evaluate potential real estate acquisitions
- Build and maintain financial models, including cash flow projections, returns analysis, and sensitivities
- Analyze property performance, market trends, and investment opportunities
- Conduct due diligence, including reviewing documentation and coordinating with third-party consultants
- Conduct market research and identify new investment opportunities
- Assist with sourcing, networking, and deal generation
- Prepare investment memos, presentations, and materials for senior leadership
- Partner with finance, legal, and operations teams throughout the acquisition process
- Prepare reporting and presentations on investment activity and market conditions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business, or a related field2–5 years of experience in real estate acquisitions, brokerage, financial analysis, or a related field
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPointArgus experience preferred
- Industrial real estate experience is a plus
- Real estate license preferred
