Trailer Technician (1st Shift)
Location: Thomasville NC Schedule: Full-Time | 1st Shift 7:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday Competitive Bi-Weekly Pay Plus Bi-Weekly Productivity & Performance Bonus Join Our Team as a Trailer Technician! We are seeking a skilled Trailer Technician to join our team in Thomasville NC. In this role, you will perform a variety of welding and fabrication functions on aluminum and steel trailers, including complex, precision welds requiring high strength and accuracy. What You'll Do: Perform welding operations on aluminum and steel components Weld overhead and underneath trailers Read blueprints, drawings, and job specifications Plan and lay out welding sequences Set stops or guides to specified lengths using scales, rules, or templates Position and align workpieces for accurate welds Operate fabrication shop machinery and equipment Measure workpieces to ensure accuracy and quality Perform minor machine maintenance and setup Observe operations to detect defects or malfunctions Follow all safety procedures in a manufacturing environment What We're Looking For Required Skills & Qualifications: Welding certification preferred DC/AC wiring Plumbing and carpentry skills a plus Ability to read a tape measure accurately Ability to read and interpret work orders and blueprints Basic math skills Strong problem-solving abilities Physical Requirements Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
