About the role

Sr. Extrusion Engineer / Senior Process Engineer, Medical Tubing My client makes medical tubing, and this role owns the extrusion process behind it. You'll be the technical lead from new product development through commercialization, and the engineer the rest of the team learns from. Why you should apply Be the technical lead for extrusion NPI, product transfer, and commercialization Design the tooling yourself: dies, tips, mandrels, sizing fixtures A voice in capital equipment selection and the long-term technology roadmap Full-time, onsite, with a hand in developing future engineering leaders
What you'll be doing: Develop, optimize, validate, and sustain medical tubing extrusion processes Design, qualify, and maintain extrusion and downstream tooling Lead IQ/OQ/PQ, process characterization, and capability studies Run root cause investigations and put corrective actions in place Own PFMEAs, control plans, validation protocols, and SOPs Support technical quoting, manufacturability assessments, and customer audits Mentor engineers, technicians, and manufacturing staff
About you: Be able to do the job as described. You've designed extrusion tooling, not only run it You've written and executed IQ/OQ/PQ protocols Microbore, multilumen, tapered, or reinforced tubing experience is a plus Current passport for occasional international travel
