About the role
- Required Qualifications1–3 years of experience in international freight forwarding, international logistics operations, or closely related air cargo operations.
- Experience coordinating shipments and maintaining accurate transportation documentation.
- Understanding of international shipping procedures and import-related documentation.
- Strong customer service and professional communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple shipments, competing priorities, and time-sensitive deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Strong attention to detail, follow-through, and problem-solving abilities.
- High school diploma or GED.Ability to work onsite in Morrisville, NC, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.Highly Preferred Experience
- Direct experience coordinating international air imports within a freight-forwarding environment.
- Experience with pre-alerts, MAWB/HAWB, customs clearance, arrival notices, and final delivery.
- Familiarity with freight-forwarding software such as CargoWise or comparable transportation management systems.
- Experience communicating with overseas agents, customs brokers, airlines, and trucking providers.
- Experience with freight quotations, carrier rates, billing, and payables.
