Overview: Micro Tech seeks a Senior Software Developer to develop and maintain systems supporting DoD waiver workflows within the global MEDEX/MEDXS mission. This position translates operational requirements into maintainable software and workflow capabilities.
Responsibilities: Develop and sustain software supporting DoD waiver submission, review, routing, and disposition. Translate user and mission requirements into software designs and implementation tasks. Implement workflow logic, validation rules, interfaces, and data handling. Conduct code reviews, testing, defect resolution, and release documentation. Coordinate with engineers, database personnel, administrators, and Government stakeholders on integration and deployment. Experience developing systems that manage DoD waiver workflows. Ability to translate business rules and approval processes into reliable software behavior. Proven experience managing personnel deployments, navigating the Synchronized Pre-deployment and Operational Tracker (SPOT), and coordinating host-nation theater clearance and DOCPER requirements across multiple OCONUS areas of responsibility.
