About the role
Supporting Wholesale Operations, the part-time contract Wholesale Operations Associate Analyst will validate, settle, and confirm energy commodity transactions while ensuring accurate data in the risk system and assisting with invoicing and financial reporting in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities:
Validate, settle, and confirm energy commodity transactions, resolving discrepancies as needed
Assist with invoicing, accounts payable and receivable, and monthly financial close processes
Coordinate with various departments including Accounting, Treasury, and Risk to ensure accurate financial reporting
Required qualifications:
Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field
Up to two years of relevant experience in financial operations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially spreadsheets
Experience in the energy industry or financial accounting preferred
Strong analytical and organizational skills
