BBBH118256_1791292328 Senior Manager, Category Management Remote (US) | 10% travelCSG is partnered with a leading healthcare company, hiring a Senior Category Management leader to own end-to-end category execution for a high growth product portfolio. This role sits at the center of commercial execution across assortment, pricing, promotions, sourcing, and supplier partnerships. You will partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance to drive measurable revenue and margin outcomes.
Key responsibilities:
- Own category strategy and operating plans (assortment, pricing, promotions, omni-channel merchandising)* Lead sourcing activity (RFI/RFP), supplier selection, and supplier governance* Build and run category performance management (KPIs, scorecards, business reviews, insights to action)* Manage product lifecycle, including new launches, adoption tracking, and rationalization* Use internal and syndicated data, customer insight, and competitive intelligence to identify growth levers* Improve processes, tools, and best practices to create repeatable, scalable execution* Lead and develop a team (hiring, coaching, performance management)
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience)* 8+ years in category management, sourcing, and or procurement* 3+ years people leadership experience* Strong commercial and financial acumen, able to translate data into clear decisions* Proven supplier negotiation and stakeholder influence skills* Experience in dental, medical, healthcare, or regulated product environments preferred
