Equipment Operator / Hubtex Operator 3rd ShiftA leading manufacturing facility in Columbus, OH 43207 is seeking dependable Equipment Operators / Hubtex Operators to join our production team on 3rd shift. This facility manufactures vinyl siding and other exterior building products. The ideal candidate has experience operating a Hubtex, multidirectional forklift, side-loader, or similar industrial equipment and is comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Starting pay: $19$20/hour. Higher pay may be available based on experience. Training will likely take place on 1st shift (7:00 AM7:00 PM) until you are fully trained and certified. Once trained/certified, you will transition to 3rd shift, 7:00 PM7:00 AM. Overtime opportunities may be available.
Responsibilities: Safely operate Hubtex and/or other industrial equipment Move and stage raw materials, finished products, and production materials Load, unload, and transport materials throughout the manufacturing facility Supply production lines with necessary materials Safely maneuver equipment in tight areas and around other employees and machinery Inspect materials and products for damage or discrepancies Follow production, safety, and operating procedures Complete required paperwork and/or production documentation Maintain a clean and organized work area Assist with general production duties as needed Follow all attendance, safety, and quality requirements
Qualifications: Previous Hubtex, side-loader, multidirectional forklift, or similar equipment experience preferred Previous forklift or industrial equipment experience strongly preferred Manufacturing, warehouse, material handling, or production experience a plus Ability to safely operate heavy equipment in a manufacturing environment Ability to work a 12-hour shift Ability to work 7:00 PM7:00 AM once training is completed Willingness to train on 1st shift initially Strong attendance and punctuality Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must be dependable and safety-conscious
