About the role
Position Overview:
Metric Geo has partnered with a client that is seeking an experienced Project Manager to plan, direct, and coordinate Heavy Civil and Infrastructure Projects throughout the region, ensuring goals are met within schedule and budget. With a track record including some of the largest projects in the region, this is an exciting opportunity to progress in your career!
Key Responsibilities:
Manage projects from award through closeout, including budgets, schedules, and cost reporting.
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field teams to keep work on track.
Review and process change orders, RFIs, and submittals.
Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, engineers, and agency representatives.
Chair project meetings and report progress to senior leadership monthly.
Mentor project engineers and support staff development.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.5+ years of project management experience in heavy civil construction.
Strong knowledge of scheduling and cost control software (e.g., Primavera P6, Excel).Experience with public agency work preferred.
