Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Product Manager to lead strategic product initiatives across a growing portfolio of healthcare and financial business products. This role requires a strong product practitioner who can operate across product strategy, product ownership, stakeholder management, and Agile delivery. The ideal candidate is a true product thinker who understands how to identify business problems, define product solutions, build stakeholder alignment, and drive execution from concept through delivery. This individual will serve as a product evangelist, helping advance a product operating model while influencing stakeholders across business and technology teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy & Vision Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with organizational priorities. Translate business objectives into product opportunities and measurable outcomes. Evaluate market conditions, business needs, and customer problems to identify product enhancements and new capabilities. Drive product decisions using data, customer insights, and business value assessments. Product Leadership Act as the primary product lead for one or more complex products or workstreams. Champion product thinking and help stakeholders understand and adopt product management best practices. Facilitate discussions that align business stakeholders, technology teams, and leadership around product priorities. Influence decisions in a highly matrixed environment while maintaining focus on customer and business outcomes. Product Delivery Own product backlogs, prioritization decisions, and roadmap execution. Partner with engineering, architecture, UX, and business teams to deliver product capabilities. Define user stories, acceptance criteria, and business requirements. Support Agile ceremonies and ensure product goals are effectively translated into delivery plans. Stakeholder Management Build strong relationships across business, technology, operations, underwriting, finance, and trade-related teams. Navigate competing priorities and negotiate win-win solutions. Communicate product strategy, progress, risks, and recommendations to executive and operational stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
7+ years of Product Management experience. Demonstrated experience owning products from strategy through execution. Strong understanding of Product Operating Models and Agile methodologies. Proven ability to lead product discovery, prioritization, roadmap planning, and delivery. Experience working within complex enterprise organizations. Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities. Experience balancing stakeholder needs while maintaining product focus.
Preferred Qualifications:
Healthcare, PBM, payer, health insurance, underwriting, finance, or regulated industry experience. Experience leading cross-functional teams without direct authority. Experience supporting product modernization, platform transformation, or large-scale enterprise initiatives. Experience operating in organizations transitioning to product-centric ways of working.
