Function: Drug Safety Research & Development (DSRD) Objective Provide execution support for report content planning and document workflow activities in Veeva, enabling DSRD teams to effectively organize, track, and complete nonclinical report deliverables. Scope of Work Report Content Planning Create and maintain content plans for nonclinical reports in Veeva Define and track: Report components and deliverables Authors/contributors Key timelines and dependencies Monitor progress and follow up on incomplete or delayed content Document Workflow Execution Support documents through Veeva workflows, including: Draft intake and setup Review coordination Approval routing Ensure documents are progressing appropriately and updated in the system Troubleshoot routine workflow or routing issues SOP & Controlled Document Processing Support workflow execution for SOPs and controlled documents Assist with document updates, revisions, and routine processing Maintain document organization within Veeva Stakeholder Coordination Track document and content status across contributors Provide follow-ups and reminders to maintain progress Serve as day-to-day support for workflow-related questions Key Deliverables Active Veeva content plans for nonclinical reports Updated and maintained document workflows (reports + SOPs) Status tracking and follow-up on content completion Basic process/job aid support as needed Estimated Effort & Volume Assumptions Content Planning ~10–20 active report content plans at a time ~3–6 new/updated plans per month ~2–4 hours per plan (setup + ongoing maintenance) Document Workflow Support ~50–100 documents/month moving through workflows ~10–20 minutes per document for coordination, routing, and tracking SOP / Controlled Documents ~10 SOP/document updates per month ~1–2 hours per document Coordination & Follow-Up ~25–35% of time spent on stakeholder coordination and tracking Total Level of Effort Estimated 1.0 FTE contractor Workload may fluctuate based on report cycles and Veeva adoption phase Required Qualifications Experience with Veeva Vault (RIM, QualityDocs, or similar) Experience supporting document workflows or document management systems Strong coordination, organization, and tracking skills Preferred Qualifications Experience in pharma/biotech R&D environment Familiarity with nonclinical reports or scientific documentation Engagement Model Contractor, execution-focused role (no leadership responsibility) Works under direction of DSRD SMEs and study teams Hybrid collaboration with U.S.-based team Pay Rate Range Min Pay Rate $34 Max Pay Rate $39 Currency USD Unit hourly Additional Notes Please note that contractors are engaged to provide services to Pfizer on a temporary basis in connection with a specific assignment. The pay rate range provided is a reasonable estimate of the anticipated compensation range for this job at the time of posting. The actual pay rate will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, location and/or being pursued and other job-related factors permitted by law. In addition, this role will be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements.
