Bilingual Food Production Technician II Meat Processing Plant Rogers The Food Production Technician will comply with Company policies, procedures, and safety standards during the manufacturing process to manufacture food products. The role will be responsible for live animal handling, slaughtering, packing, BRC collection, and sanitation. Responsibilities:
Responsible for live room attendant and sanitation Slaughtering room procedures that includes stunning, blood catching, skinning, transferring, operating a brain saw and chiller, gutting, pre-op, euthanizing, foot cutting, trimming, grading, racking, and heart and liver collection. Biological research collection (BRC) procedures that include stunning, drawing blood, harvesting raw materials, cervical dislocation, and inspection. Packing procedures that include operating a packing saw and cryovac, working the packing line, functioning as head of the line, bagging, casing, order packing, cooler/freezer, and completing fresh order paperwork. Understand and promote the quality system as part of the Company's overall goal toward continual improvement through strict adherence to all company policies and procedures, as well as actively supporting and upholding the principles and values of the company. Comply with Pel-Freez, United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS), and Occupational Safety and Health Administration policies and procedures, food safety standards, general safety, animal welfare, and good manufacturing practices.
