Housing Operations and Summer Programs Coordinator We are searching for an experienced Housing Operations and Summer Programs Coordinator at our Goldsmith Campus - Westchester campus.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
PRIMARY PURPOSE:The Housing Operations and Summer Programs Coordinator combines year-round housing administration with oversight of summer housing and conference programs. This full-time, live-on position is responsible for housing contracts, occupancy administration, office management, and summer operations. The position supports continuity of housing operations across the full calendar year, with particular responsibility during peak housing application, opening, closing, and summer conference periods. This role will be a live on position.
CORE DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
The position builds relationships with faculty, students, staff, and external partners to support effective housing operations and the residential student experience in a variety of ways: Housing Operations Manage housing application, assignment, and contract processes for fall and spring occupancy. Serve as a primary administrator of the housing management system and maintain accurate occupancy, assignment, and billing records. Coordinate housing operations during peak periods, including opening, closing, room changes, and break housing. Support move-in and move-out logistics and health and safety inspections. Maintain administrative records, billing reconciliation, and reporting for housing operations. Summer Housing and Conference Programs Plan and oversee Summer Housing and Conference Programs, including scheduling, staffing, and guest-group logistics. Serve as a point of contact for summer conference clients and internal partners such as Facilities, Campus Safety, and Dining. Coordinate and/or supervise summer student staff and conference assistants. Maintain summer housing records, billing reconciliation, schedules, and operational reports. Residential Operations and Emergency Support Participate in the professional on-call duty rotation, including evenings, weekends, and summer coverage. Coordinate with Residence Life and Housing staff and campus partners on operational issues affecting residents and summer guests.
Required Qualifications:
REQUIRED SKILLS and EDUCATION: (Non-negotiable; minimum requirements, skills, experience, certifications)Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.1–2 years of experience in housing operations, conference services, hospitality, or a related administrative role. Strong organizational and customer-service skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent projects. Availability to live on campus and participate in the on-call rotation, including during the summer term. FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Compensation Type: Hourly Wage
Salary Range:
