Family owned, with more than six decades in the industry and multiple manufacturing facilities across the Midwest, including a newer, growing facility built for large tonnage die casting work.

Job Details: Diagnose, repair and maintain dies, tooling and fixtures supporting die cast operations, with a strong emphasis on manual machining and TIG welding at a facility that's still being built out.
What you'll do:
  • Diagnose and repair dies, tooling and fixtures used in die cast production
  • Perform manual machining operations, lathes, mills and grinders, to produce or repair tooling componentsTIG weld to repair and build up dies and tooling components
  • Read blueprints and technical drawings to fabricate or repair tooling to spec
  • Troubleshoot tooling issues on the production floor and perform preventive maintenance on dies
  • Work adaptably in a facility still being built out, this role will see things evolve as the plant grows
What we're looking for:
  • Experience in tool and die repair, manual machining or a related skilled tradeTIG welding experience required
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
  • Comfortable in a newer, still developing facility, flexibility matters here
  • High school diploma or GED, trade school training a plus
