About the role
Volunteer as a Small-Group Instructor for Adult English Learners Are you available Monday evenings (6-8pm) or Wednesday evenings (6-8pm)?WATCH CDC invites volunteers to lead small instructional groups of adult English learners.*All lesson plans and materials are provided**No prior teaching experience or multi-language proficiency is required. What matters most is reliability, an interest in adult education, and a commitment to helping participants develop practical communication skills. Volunteer Expectations: Commit to the fall trimester (September 14 - December 18) Availability Monday evenings (6-8pm) or Wednesday evenings (6-8pm) (same day and time each week) Bring a respectful, patient, and culturally sensitive approach to working with diverse learners If this volunteer opportunity interests you but you're unsure about the time commitment, please reach out!
