Since then, we've launched Grocery, Convenience, Alcohol, Retail, and DashMarts while also building merchant services, dasher tooling and consumer products.About the RoleScale and lead the strategic vision for Convenience Operations, one of DoorDash's largest and most dynamic verticals. In this role, you will join a high-performing team dedicated to driving continuous improvement across our daily ecosystem. Your mission is to architect the operational strategies that ensure every customer receives their order with perfect accuracy and unmatched speed, redefining the standard for modern convenience.Key ResponsibilitiesArchitect the fulfillment strategy of our convenience network by overseeing and streamlining in-store fulfillment, scaling macro-level solutions that maximize efficiency and ease for our Dashers across DoorDash's Convenience portfolioDrive enterprise inventory precision by spearheading cross-functional, high-impact initiatives to ensure real-time data syncs flawlessly between platform inventory and actual in-store availability at scaleOwn the operational roadmap by setting the long-term vision and establish key metrics to firmly position DoorDash as the premier, highest-quality destination for convenience shoppingThis role sits at the intersection of strategy, operations, and product. The best operators today are rapidly generating new ideas, taking ownership over metrics and moving them in the right direction, putting together product visions, and synthesizing complex analyses — all while leveraging AI to uplevel how we operate. We expect this person to stay at the forefront of how AI is reshaping the work, actively exploring new tools, automating repetitive workflows, and finding ways to do in hours what used to take weeks.This is an individual contributor position and you will report into a Senior Manager on the team. From first principles, you'll develop the optimal strategy for best serving all sides of the marketplace - dashers, merchants and consumers.Operate . Own tracking dashboards and manage week over week metrics to drive high quality operations.Build with AI . You'll use AI tools to automate manual processes, build new prototypes and develop product visions. You'll be expected to push the boundaries of what's possible with AI in your day-to-day work, and share what you learn with the team.Experiment. You'll transform strategies into operational experiments, product features and net-new tooling that create measurable outcomes.Analyze. Build models using Excel and SQL to evaluate the economic, operational and strategic costs and benefits of various programs and experiments — and increasingly, use AI to accelerate and deepen that analysis.Lead, collaborate and Influence. You'll partner with and influence cross-functional teams including growth, quality, finance, product and engineering to launch initiatives to the finish line.We're excited about you because…You have 4-6+ years of experience. Base salary is localized according to an employee's work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.
