About the role

About the Team: AWS Compliance, Security and Assurance (CSA) builds the technology that proves Amazon's compliance and security to the auditors, regulators, and customers who demand it, and that screens every party we do business with, at global scale. We operate at global scale: billions of screening events a day, hundreds of third-party audit engagements a year, and trade and product compliance spanning dozens of countries.
About the Role: We are hiring an Applied Science Manager to lead a team of applied scientists advancing CSA's science agenda, "Provable Trust in the Agentic Era." This agenda rests on two pillars: decisioning science, which builds ML and agentic systems that make and act on compliance decisions at scale with calibrated confidence, and verification science, which produces proof of correctness for the controls and systems that compliance depends on. Key job responsibilities

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
