Title: Manufacturing Engineer IOpenings: 2Duration: 6 month contractLocation: Sumner, WA 1516 Fryar AvenueShift: M-F, Start time between 6am-9am (Day Shift)M-Th 2:30pm-1:30am (Swing)PR: $45-55/hrInterview Process: 1 and done, Virtual via TeamsMust Haves:- Bachelors Degree in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering- 1-3+ years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer- Proficient in Inventor, SolidWorks, and/or CATIA- Experience in technical writing- Experience in reviewing drawings, models, engineering specifications, orders, and related information to obtain knowledge of manufacturing methods, procedures and activities- Experience with composite process and specifications of thermoset and/or thermoplastic parts and structures- Capable of performing safety, failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), Process Capability and Total Product Maintenance (TPM) for new and existing equipmentDay to day: An aerospace company in Sumner, WA is seeking 2 Manufacturing Engineers to join their team! In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and optimizing composite curing and production processes to ensure product quality, manufacturing efficiency, and schedule attainment. This role monitors cure cycle parameters, evaluates oven loading strategies, and identifies opportunities to improve throughput and process consistency. The Manufacturing Engineer serves as a technical resource for troubleshooting production issues, including vacuum leaks, cure cycle deviations, and process disruptions, while partnering with operations and quality teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives..
