Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee our construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the construction process, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of construction practices, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
Duties: Reviews and discuss project scope, subcontractor list, schedule, budget adherence and labor requirements with management team prior to start of construction. · Oversees and coordinates the planning and implementation of site preparation and construction for sports fields and other associated work. · Maintain daily reports of all project activities and material inventories. · Performs jobsite audits of existing conditions, elevations, accessibility, and safety concerns. · Controlling the project productivity, costs, and safety consistent with company policies and practices. · Schedule and coordinate sub-contractors, material deliveries, inspections, and professional services as required. · Supervising the activity and development of all on site staff including laborers, project leadmen and operators. · Develops and maintains customer relationships to enhance the company’s ability to procure projects, reduce risk, and ensure operational efficiency. · Maintain adherence to all plans and specifications of the project and report any potential changes or discrepancies to Project Manager.
Requirements: · 3-5 years of Superintendent experience preferred. · Five years of relevant experience in the commercial construction industry necessary. · Prior experience working in the elements for a prolonged period is needed. · Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and understanding of all trades. · Ability to read and understand all construction, site and civil plans and use lasers. · Proven history of successful project completions. · Excellent work ethic, integrity, and professional demeanor. · Computer skills and working knowledge of software.
