About the role
To support CANES and C4I modernization efforts, the remote Technical Instructor Course Developer will focus on curriculum development by reviewing system updates and creating training products that ensure Sailors are trained to current operational standards.
Key responsibilities:
Review system updates and configuration changes to align curriculum with the latest CANES fleet baseline
Develop and maintain courseware, lesson plans, and practical lab exercises for CANES and C4I training
Deliver instructor-led classroom and hands-on instruction to support pilot courses and fleet training events
Required qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Navy Basic Instructor Training (NEC 805A or 9502) or a recognized trainer certification
Minimum of eight years of experience in a technical trade related to electronics or shipboard networks
Hands-on experience with Navy Shipboard Networks, including CANES or TACNET systems
Experience using Navy authoring tools such as CPM/LOM or AIM
