Analyst – Quality Engineer A little about this gig Join a technology consulting organization focused on automation & AI, data engineering & analytics, software engineering, and digital transformation. As an Analyst – Quality Engineer, you’ll work closely with product and engineering teams to ensure applications and services are reliable, scalable, and thoroughly tested. This is a hands-on automation role with a strong emphasis on Playwright, covering both front-end and back-end testing.
What you'll be doing:
  • Build and maintain automated test suites using Playwright
  • Test front-end applications, APIs, and backend services
  • Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing
  • Perform API testing and SQL/database validation
  • Troubleshoot automation failures and identify root causes
  • Partner with developers to resolve defects and improve test coverage
  • Track and document defects and testing results
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
  • Help improve automation frameworks, testing tools, and QA processes
  • Take ownership of testing features from development through deployment
  • What we're looking for1–3 years of Quality Engineering or Test Automation experience
  • Hands-on experience with Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar automation tools
  • Experience with TypeScript or another object-oriented programming language
  • Hands-on API testingSQL/database validation experience
  • Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions
  • Experience with Git/version control
  • Understanding of modern software testing practices
  • Strong communication and ability to work with cross-functional engineering teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
