The work we do building families offers stimulation, challenge, and personal reward. We have an immediate opening for a Medical Assistant in River North, Illinois. The schedule is Monday - Friday 6:30?a?m to 3:00?p?m Central Time, with weekend rotations. Pay ranges from $21 to $23 per hour. How Youll Contribute High volume of phlebotomy Maintain supplies for the blood drawing stations Ensure lab specimens are sent to proper labs Document patient care services utilizing daily logs and patient records Utilize the computer to enter labs and print labels Assist physician or ultrasound technician with various procedures Assist with HSGs as needed Take vital signs and provide general clinical assistance Assist with the clinical care of fertility patients Provide patient/couple counseling, procedure teaching, and communicate physician orders and instructions Provide pre? and post?op education Establish a compassionate environment by providing emotional and psychological support to patients and families Work independently to assure program goals are achieved Support and promote excellence in customer service Administrative tasks such as prior authorizations What Youll Bring High school graduate Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program in Illinois Medical Assistant certification preferred Experience in a medical office setting a plus Technical skills (e.g., venipuncture/phlebotomy, injections) Proficiency with computer systems (e.g., Artworks, Next Gen, lab portals training provided) Knowledge of and compliance with insurance requirements related to laboratory test ordering Adherence to all standards, policies and procedures associated with safety, sanitation, confidentiality, and company operations Current CPR/BLS certification preferred What We Offer Full?time employees (30+ hours/week): Medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, tuition assistance, performance?based bonus opportunities, generous paid time off, and paid holidays Part?time employees: 401(k) with company match and performance?based bonus opportunities Per Diem employees: 401(k) with company match At Fertility Centers of Illinois, we promote and develop individual strengths to help staff grow personally and professionally.
