About the role
We are working with a NYC real estate firm who is looking to add an Accountant to their team.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end financial reports Process invoices and payment requests accurately and in a timely manner Track costs and budgets, identifying variances and improvements Assist with audits and prepare supporting documentation Partner with internal teams to streamline reporting and financial processes
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 1–2 years of accounting experience (public accounting strongly preferred)Proficiency in Excel and WordCPA or progress toward a CPA is preferred
