About the role
- Provide comprehensive outpatient care for adult patients
- Evaluate and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
- Conduct routine follow-up visits, annual wellness visits, and preventive care
- Manage common chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and other complex medical needs
- Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic testing and laboratory studies
- Develop treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising physician and care team
- Provide patient education and support medication management
- Work closely with the physician and clinic staff to improve access, continuity, and patient experience
- No surgery, inpatient rounding, or hospital call responsibilities
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program with current NCCPA certification
- Active or eligible for an unrestricted Idaho Physician Assistant license
- Experience in internal medicine, family medicine, primary care, or outpatient medicine preferred
- Strong knowledge of chronic disease management and preventive care
- Ability to manage a broad range of adult medical conditions independently while collaborating appropriately with the supervising physician
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and organizational ability
- Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
