About the role

We are looking for an AI Artist and Retoucher to support a visual production team. This long-term contract position blends generative image creation with expert retouching, requiring someone who can move fluidly between AI-assisted workflows and high-quality photographic finishing. The role focuses on producing refined product, interior, and lifestyle visuals that align with elevated brand and editorial expectations while partnering closely with creative stakeholders.
Responsibilities: Create and refine visual assets using generative AI tools and node-based workflows to produce furniture, interior, and lifestyle imagery for production use. Develop, test, and improve prompts across platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude to achieve consistent, production-ready image results. Retouch both photographed and AI-assisted imagery with careful attention to color balance, compositing, texture cleanup, lighting realism, and material detail. Integrate generated elements into existing photography and blend photographed components into AI-created scenes while preserving a natural, cohesive look. Elevate product and lifestyle images to premium editorial quality through precise masking, corrections, and finishing techniques. Prepare final files for print production, ensuring assets meet technical, formatting, and prepress standards. Work closely with art directors and creative partners to maintain a unified visual style across campaigns and marketing deliverables. Document repeatable prompting methods and retouching procedures to support internal best practices and workflow consistency.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
