Job Summary: Join our pack at Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming Livermore! We are a premium, neighborhood pet grooming salon and boutique located at 2050 Portola Ave Suite E. We pride ourselves on creating a safe, and luxurious environment where quality always comes before quantity. We value the health, happiness, and styling precision of every pup. Responsibilities: Bathing, drying, and brushing dogs to clean them, removing dead skin and debris from their coats, and adding shampoos and conditioners as needed Massaging pets to relieve stress and improve blood circulation Grooming dogs using clippers, scissors, or electric razors Cleaning the salon, kennels, and cages Ensure the safety of dogs at all times Communicate effectively and compassionately with pet owners
Qualifications: Previous experience as a dog grooming technician at least 1 year Comfortable working with anxious animals Ability to stand for long periods Willingness to learn new techniques and participate in continuing education Able to communicate effectively with coworkers and dog owners Strong attention to detail
