About the role

Process Engineer North America Tech Deploy (NA TD) team is seeking a highly motivated Process Engineer to join our team. The Process Engineer will be responsible for driving continuous improvement, optimizing deployment processes, and ensuring the successful installation and commissioning of fulfillment center technologies across North America. This role combines technical expertise with project management skills to deliver scalable solutions that improve safety, quality, and efficiency in technology deployments. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and is passionate about using data-driven approaches to solve complex operational challenges. Key job responsibilities: Develop, document, and maintain standard work instructions, SOPs, and process documentation for technology installations and deployments Analyze deployment data to identify trends, root causes of defects, and opportunities for process improvement Lead Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and other Lean/Six Sigma initiatives to reduce waste and improve deployment cycle times Partner with cross-functional teams to drive alignment on deployment standards and best practices Conduct site visits to observe installations, gather Voice of Customer (VOC) feedback, and validate process adherence Drive lessons learned processes and ensure corrective actions are implemented across the network Manage escalations related to process deviations and coordinate resolution with stakeholder teams
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial or Mechanical), Operations Research, or related fields
  • Experience developing and implementing of standards, policies and programs or equivalent 3+ years of experience in process engineering, process improvement, or operational excellence within a manufacturing, logistics, or technology deployment environment
  • Experience with value stream mapping and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies
  • Proficiency in data analysis and metrics development to measure process performance
  • Experience working cross-functionally with multiple stakeholder teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Engineering (Industrial or Mechanical), Operations Research, or related fields
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
  • Experience with change management and driving tool/process adoption across organizations
  • Familiarity with robotics, automation, or MHE technologiesPMP or equivalent project management certification
