About the role
To support a growing finance team, the full-time Florida Licensed Senior Manager Accounting will manage and mentor a team of accountants, oversee accounting for internally-developed software projects and fixed assets, and ensure compliance with accounting standards while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
Oversee the accounting for IDSW projects, including capitalization assessments and cost tracking
Manage the full lifecycle of fixed assets and ensure compliance with ASC 842 for operating and finance leases
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations
Required qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field
Certified Public Accountant
7-10 years of progressive relevant experience in public accounting or within a medium to large international organization
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, particularly ASC 350-40, ASC 360, and ASC 842
Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP or OneStream, and familiarity with lease accounting tools
