- Your Role as a Large Equipment Mechanic
- Every day will bring new challenges and opportunities to use your skills.
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical systems, hydraulic systems, and gas and diesel engines
- Performing service calls on the road and communicating with customers about the status and location of repairs needed
- Cleaning up after each project, keeping indoor and outdoor workstations clean and clear from obstructions, and maintaining clean and working service trucks
- Clearly communicating with the service supervisor and parts department to ensure parts are ordered and received in a timely manner
- Accurately keeping records, including parts orders and hours worked on equipment
- Maintaining a safe and secure work environment by adhering to and striving to improve safety standards and reporting any suspicious activity
- Completing related tasks as assigned
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience working with DC voltage controls, hydraulics, and gas and diesel engines
- The willingness to work outdoors in all seasons and cross-train in other repair areas
- A team player who is dependable and takes pride in quality workmanship
- Lift up to 75 lbs.
- Sit, stand, and walk on a hard surface for the majority of your shift
- Frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
