About the role

Job Description: Vascular Surgery Group is seeking an experienced Full-Time Front Desk Medical Receptionist to support our vascular surgery outpatient practice. This role is responsible for patient check-in and check-out, appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and supporting the daily flow of clinic operations.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of medical front desk experience in a clinic setting (required)BLS Certification Preferred
  • Experience with medical insurance verification and procedure authorizations (required)
  • Medical appointment scheduling experience (required)EMR/EHR experience preferred (Athena strongly preferred)
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
  • Valid Driver’s License (required)
Schedule Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PMRare overtime as needed
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods throughout the workday
  • Ability to walk, bend, reach, and occasionally lift up to 20 lbs (files, supplies, office materials)
  • Frequent use of computer, keyboard, telephone, and standard office equipment
  • Ability to assist patients at the front desk and move between patient areas, front desk, and administrative areas as needed
