Overview:
Position Type Full Time Job Shift DayDescriptionThis position is responsible for operating scanning tools to stage and load product into trailers and drive the straight truck 2 - 3 days a week.
Essential Duties:
- Manually loads and unloads shipments of furniture and related products to/from truck trailers
- Uses scanner tool to stage product in warehouse and on trucks
- Uses hand trucks and forklifts to transport items through the shipping or receiving area
- Drive the straight truck to pick up or deliver items up to 3 days a week
- Required to read and understand ship documents
- Must follow all safety policies and procedures
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Position Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous experience is preferred
- Valid driver's license and good driving record

Must be able to walk and stand continuously throughout shift; sitting, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling and twisting as needed Must be able to frequently push, pull, grasp and use foot to operate controls Must be able to work in noisy environments Frequently lifting/carrying objects up to 50 lbs.; occasionally up to 100 lbs. with assistance
