Job Description:
Job Description Granite Creations, Farmington, MI a High Quality Stone Fabricator is looking for a Stone Countertop Templater for our team. We template the "Old Fashioned Way" using lauan plywood sticks and hot glue for the best possible fit and finish of our fabricated countertops. We'd like to hear from you if you have countertop template, cabinet/carpentry or install experience.

- Responsibilities are the following but not limited to:
- Valid drivers license to drive our vehicles to various customer locations throughout the Suburban Detroit Market and as needed working at Residential New Construction and Remodeling Projects
- Make templates and confirm cabinet levelness and stability for stone installation
- Confirm with customers Edge selection, Overhangs, Splash dimensions and Sink Choices
- Anticipate any installation and/or fabrication challenges
- Answer customers questions regarding the installation process
- Complete paperwork within 24 hours to feed the production and sales department
- Skills and Experience
- Previous experience creating wood templates for stone a plus
- Detail oriented, possess problem solving abilities
- Knowledge of measuring tools and levels
- Ability to perform math functions including fractions
- Strong work ethic, be honest, punctual and a positive team player
