About the role
Bookstore Support Our church... is a non-denominational multi-site church with four St. Louis-area campuses where we gather each weekend to study this ancient story found in Scripture that is still transforming lives today. We believe church should be a place where believers in Jesus and skeptics can stand side-by-side to study truth and ask tough questions. We blend teaching and worship with art and technology to create a service where you can experience the message of Jesus in practical and life-changing ways. Bookstore Support is a part-time position (5-10 hours per week) that will be on site point of contact for bookstore when bookstore is open, including weekend services and limited groups, classes and events, holidays (Christmas, Easter & Baptism Celebration weekend).Essential Job Responsibilities Create a safe and welcoming environment for all guests in the bookstore by working alongside a volunteer team that are hospitable, familiar and knowledgeable about bookstore resources. Have a working knowledge of resources in the bookstore, including being trained in the basic bible course. Have a working knowledge of the systems in the bookstore including square point of sales and bible imprinting. Point of contact for new volunteer shadowing on a weekend. Willing to take 2-3 shifts (a Saturday or Sunday) a month. Other duties as assigned by leadership.
