About the role
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor.
- Assist guests with luggage, guiding them to their rooms and providing any needed assistance.
- Deliver and retrieve guest items (such as luggage, packages, or amenities) promptly and efficiently.
- Provide guests with information about hotel facilities, amenities, local attractions, and services.
- Escort guests to their rooms, explaining room features and hotel amenities.
- Assist with parking and retrieving guest vehicles as required (if valet services are offered).Handle guest requests for additional services, such as arranging transportation or providing recommendations for local dining and activities.
- Maintain a neat and organized bell desk, ensuring that all necessary equipment (e.g., luggage carts, keys) is readily available.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and escalate issues to management if necessary.
- Assist with loading and unloading luggage at the hotel entrance or transportation area.
- Ensure that guests' personal belongings are treated with care and security.
- Assist with special guest needs, such as arranging for wake-up calls or coordinating room service requests.
- Provide support to the concierge team as needed, assisting with reservations or guest inquiries.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Qualification Standards:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).Previous experience in hospitality or customer service (preferred but not required).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, helpful, and professional attitude.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy luggage (up to a certain weight limit).Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Basic knowledge of the local area, amenities, and attractions (preferred).Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license- clean driving record with no recent traffic offenses and the ability to drive a manual transmission.
- Work takes place outdoors, in the hotel lobby, guest rooms, or transportation areas.
- Often requires working in high-traffic areas and interacting with a wide range of guests.
