Position Title:
CNC Operator Wage: $18.00 per hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6:00am-2:30pm
QPS Employment Group has a great CNC Operator position available at a company in Belvidere, IL. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start their career- apprentice opportunity.
CNC Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Assist in the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of CNC machinery to ensure smooth production workflows.
Follow detailed technical instructions and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Conduct routine inspections and quality checks to meet production standards.
Collaborate with team members to improve process efficiency and equipment performance.
Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and machine data.
CNC Operator Requirements:
Basic experience with CNC machines or a strong mechanical aptitude.
Proficiency in math, with above-average skills to interpret measurements, decimals, place values.
Measure machined parts with precision measuring tools
Experience working on farms or in hands-on, mechanical environments is considered highly beneficial.
Completion of training programs; preferred not mandatory
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a desire to learn and grow within the manufacturing industry.
Ability to lift 50 lbs. somewhat often throughout shift.
Ability to stand 8-10 hours a day, bend, twist, stoop, lift.
Ability to proficiently to read and speak English.
