Job Description Electrician Journeymen opportunities in the Farmington Hills, Michigan area. A national company with a facility in the Farmington Hills, MI area is currently seeking experienced Electrician Journeymen for long-term opportunities with their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced commercial electricians looking for a company that offers excellent opportunities for growth, stability, and advancement. Electrician Journeymen will be working a full-time day shift position with competitive pay up to $40 an hour, based on experience, qualifications, and education. All well-qualified candidates will be considered regardless of pay rate. Qualified Electrician Journeymen will have most, if not all, of the following skills and experience: Must have a Michigan Journeyman Electrician License. Any experience with commercial electrical service work and maintenance projects. Knowledge of electrical codes, systems, troubleshooting, repairs and installations. Experience with electrical controls, panels, fixtures, outlets, switches, wiring and cabling, lighting systems, generators, etc. Good communication skills with the ability to interact professionally. Valid driver's license and clean driving record - fully loaded company work van provided. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and safely work from ladders and lifts when required. Must be able to work in the United States (no H-1 sponsorship or student visas considered).Must be able to complete standard pre-hire checks including background, drug screen, references, etc.
