Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $42/hour
Shift: 1st shift, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (OT hours will be required if requested by Deere)

Responsibilities: As a Product Engineer located in Fuquay-Varina, NC, you will:
- Develop and implement design solutions to improve cost, quality, and performance of existing products
- Manage the implementation of multiple moderate scope projects on a common timeline tied to a pre-determined implementation date
- Identify the root cause of identified issues and develop corrective actions to resolve them
- Collaborate within a cross-functional team to provide engineering support
- What Skills You Need (Required skills/experiences)
- Proficient in 3D CAD, other engineering tools & systems (Creo, Windchill, SAP, ANSYS, etc.)Working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, electro-hydraulic, structural, and powertrain systems and the ability to troubleshoot them
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of technical drawings and GD&TExperience taking designs from ideas to fully implemented into production
- Experience performing engineering calculations and data analysis
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Agricultural, or Electrical Engineering

- Advanced engineering degree
- Experience with commercial mowing products or parallel industries
- Experience with gasoline and diesel engines and engine systems
- Experience with design for manufacturing techniques
- Knowledge of systems engineering and/or six sigma methodologies
