We are looking for an experienced PJM Power Trader to join a remote proprietary trading platform, with a focus on PJM Virtuals, Point-to-Point and Short-Term FTRs.
About the Role:
This is an opportunity for a trader with a proven track record who understands how to maximize returns while minimizing downside risk through a credit-efficient trading strategy.
Responsibilities:
- PJM Virtuals
- Point-to-PointShort-Term FTRsCongestion and market analysis
- Short-term trading strategies
Qualifications: To apply, please provide:
- A brief description of your trading strategy, process and approach to the markets
- Daily trading performance by market and product, preferably covering the last 2 years, in Excel format
- Average and maximum credit usage
- Estimated daily P&L targets, e.g. +/- $5,000 per day
- Maximum two-day drawdown and maximum overall drawdown
- Any commercial software, data feeds or other tools required to execute your strategy
Required Skills:
We are particularly interested in traders who understand that consistent, risk-adjusted returns are more important than simply maximizing absolute P&L. The platform places a strong emphasis on:
- Sortino Ratio
- Consistent equity curves
- Downside risk management
- Controlled drawdowns
- Efficient credit utilization
- Repeatable and clearly defined trading strategies
Preferred Skills:
- The method and path by which returns are generated is just as important as the absolute profit.
- Pay range and compensation package$125,000 base salary 25% of book profits
- Fully remote
