Job Description Job DescriptionSoftware Developer – AI & Automation Brooklyn, NY – On-Site $70,000–$100,000 (Based on Experience)Overview This role is for a hands-on developer who cantake ownership of an existing software platform, manage and continue its development, and use AI and automation to improve business operations . You'll need to understand the full scope of the system—not just the code—including how it connects with other tools, how data and workflows move across the business, and what additional processes can be integrated or automated. This is a high-ownership role for someone who can understand a business need, determine the right technical approach, execute it, and make sure the solution works in the real world. Responsibilities Own, maintain, enhance, and continue developing the existing software platform Understand the current system, functionality, codebase, and technical architecture Assess the full scope of projects, including systems, workflows, data, integrations, and dependencies Determine how different applications, platforms, and business processes need to connect Build and maintain APIs and third-party integrations Integrate AI capabilities into the software and business workflows Identify manual or repetitive processes that can be automated Develop automations that improve efficiency across the organization Add features and functionality as business needs evolve Troubleshoot software, integration, and automation issues Work across departments to understand business needs and recommend practical technology solutions Own projects from scoping and development through implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement Qualifications Strong hands-on software development experience Experience with AI tools and integrations Strong experience withAPIs, systems integrations, and automation Ability to understand how multiple systems, workflows, and data need to work together Ability to understand and scope technical requirements based on business needs Experience working with, maintaining, and improving existing software/codebases Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Comfortable independently owning software development projects Business-minded and able to identify where technology and automation can improve operations Practical, resourceful, and strong on follow-throughEmail resume to:
