About the role
Our Veteran-to-Veteran Program seeks volunteers who are willing to share some of their time with thenation's heroes in our care. We connect Veteran patients with Veteran volunteers who have the special ability to honor and connect, encouraging peace and healing. Based on individual interests and preferences, volunteers receive specific training to work directly withpatients and families for companionship, emotional support, and respite for caregivers. We also offeropportunities to participate in pinning ceremonies, events, and educational outreach.
