Position Summary:
The Aggregate Management Trainee Program is designed to develop future leaders within aggregate operations through hands‑on training, mentoring, and rotational assignments. Trainees will gain exposure to all aspects of aggregate production, including quarry operations, safety, quality control, maintenance, environmental compliance, logistics, and financial management.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Essential Duties and Functions
Promote a culture of safety and ensure adherence to all company safety policies and regulatory requirements.
Participate in safety meetings, audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
Participate in daily quarry and aggregate production activities.
Learn and apply production planning and operational best practices.
Assist with monitoring plant performance, production rates, and operational efficiencies.
Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, and cost control.
Gain experience managing inventory, production scheduling, and customer service requirements.
Work closely with maintenance personnel to understand preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Gain knowledge of aggregate specifications and quality testing procedures.
Develop an understanding of operational budgets and cost management.
Assist with tracking production costs, maintenance expenses, and operating metrics.
Participate in customer visits and business development activities as assigned.
Develop supervisory and leadership skills through coaching and mentoring.
Lead projects and cross‑functional initiatives.
Collaborate effectively with operations, maintenance, quality control, sales, and administrative teams.
Maintain regular and dependable attendance to support learning, team collaboration, and operational needs.
Gain exposure to multiple quarry operations.
Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed to support business objectives and operational requirements.
Qualifications:
Education
Associates or Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Management, Industrial Technology or a related field preferred.
Experience
Internship, co‑op experience, or prior exposure to construction materials, manufacturing, mining, or heavy industrial operations is preferred.
Leadership experience through academic, military, athletic, or community activities is a plus.

Compensation & Company Benefits
Pay range is $65,000-$70,000
