Location: Milwaukee, WI 53225
Duration: 4 Months + 1 Week
Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM | 4 Days On / 4 Days OffJob Overview:
Seeking a Laboratory Technician to support food safety, quality control, and laboratory testing operations within a food manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine lab testing on raw materials, in-process, and finished products
- Conduct product analysis and document accurate test results
- Monitor/calibrate laboratory instruments and perform minor troubleshooting
- Maintain laboratory records, SOPs, and compliance documentation
- Support food safety and quality assurance initiatives
- Assist with inspections, experiments, and operational testing
- Follow safety and regulatory procedures
Required Skills:
- Laboratory testing or quality control experience preferred
- Food manufacturing background is a plus
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Instrument calibration & troubleshooting knowledge
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Comfortable in hot/dusty manufacturing environments
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Comfortable climbing/crawling when needed
- Able to work in temperatures up to 110°F occasionally
Preferred Background:
Experience in Food Lab / QA / QC environments Familiarity with SOPs, food safety, and compliance standards#ZR
