About the role

About this position Pacifico Energy develops, finances, builds, and operates energy infrastructure that powers businesses and communities. In the U.S., we are tackling one of the biggest challenges facing AI and large-scale data centers: access to reliable power. Our private grids bring dedicated generation and energy storage directly to customers, helping projects move forward without waiting for traditional utility connections. We draw on Pacifico Energy Group’s experience across the U.S., Japan, South Korea, and Vietnam, spanning solar, wind, battery storage, and natural gas. Joining Pacifico means helping turn ambitious energy projects into operating infrastructure, with work that connects directly to the people and businesses building the future of AI. Cedar Creek is a 1,100 MW simple-cycle gas turbine power project built under a lump-sum EPC contract. What you get to do: Review piping design, isometrics, layouts and material specifications. Assess pipe stress analysis and support design. Review fuel gas and high-pressure system design. Evaluate piping change requests and field queries. Partner with the site team on piping technical questions. Track design deliverable status against the schedule. Hands-on pipe stress analysis experience. Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu, Procore and AI tools used with human verification. Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering — required for this position.
Nice to have: Professional engineering registration.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
