The successful candidate will be a highly skilled, relational, and courageous leader, responsible for guiding the Association and its staff in advocacy and policy work. This role is particularly challenging and consequential, as it involves addressing both acute and chronic issues in the healthcare landscape, including funding reductions, workforce shortages, and rising healthcare costs. The President will be expected to be a superb leader and communicator, capable of unifying and advancing the collective voice of the Association's members. Building strategic relationships with a broad spectrum of stakeholders, including elected officials and partner organizations, is essential. Candidates for the President and Chief Executive Officer position at the company should be strategic executives with a deep understanding of the healthcare industry.
