About the role
Driving scientific support for drug substance programs, the full-time Senior Associate Scientist, RNA will optimize and characterize RNA synthesis processes while collaborating with research and manufacturing teams in Cambridge, MA.
Key Responsibilities:
Apply high throughput and data-driven approaches for early optimization and characterization of RNA synthesis processes
Support the definition and scale-up of RNA drug substance synthesis processes
Collaborate with research teams to facilitate transitions from drug candidate nomination to clinical manufacturingRequired QualificationsDegree in Bio/Chemical Engineering, Bio/Chemistry, or a related field (BS with 4+ years or MS with 2+ years of experience)
Knowledge of automated liquid handlers and small-scale stir tank reactors
Experience with statistical design of experiments (DoE) and analysis of multivariate data
Familiarity with process analytics and biophysical characterization techniques such as HPLC and gel electrophoresis
Hands-on experience with liquid handling systems and high throughput workflow design is a plus
