Ocean Import Coordinator Atlanta, GA$65,000 $70,000 | Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm | Office BasedWhat You'll Be DoingManage end-to-end Ocean Import shipments, from arrival through customs clearance and final delivery. Coordinate with ocean carriers, customs brokers, trucking providers and customers. Manage bills of lading, commercial invoices, import documentation and shipment records. Track cargo, resolve exceptions and proactively communicate with customers. Ensure shipments comply with applicable customs and import regulations. Maintain accurate shipment and billing information within logistics systems. Deliver a high level of customer service in a fast-paced freight-forwarding environment.
What We're Looking For:
  • Solid experience in Ocean Freight / Ocean Import within freight forwarding or logistics.
  • Strong knowledge of US import processes and customs documentation.
  • Experience working with freight-forwarding systems; CargoWise experience would be highly advantageous.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization and follow-through.
  • Confident communicator who can build strong relationships with customers, carriers and internal teams.
  • Someone who enjoys problem-solving and taking ownership from shipment booking through to delivery.
